Contemporary art in front of the pyramids of Giza

The private firm Art d’Égypte has organized the exhibition ‘Forever Is Now’, an exhibition that reflects time as an element that unites and separates civilizations.

For the first time in its approximately 4,500-year history, the monumental Pyramids of Giza complex has hosted a contemporary art exhibition that juxtaposes its historic past with a vibrant present. Called Forever Is Now, the exhibition, sponsored by UNESCO, features a dozen works by 11 artists from Egypt and abroad, displayed on the vast plateau where the last of the seven wonders of the ancient world rests. In this way, the works dialogue with each other. The organization is in charge of the private art firm Art d’Égypte, which in recent years has established itself as one of the most important companies in the cultural and artistic scene of the country and that, every year, organizes an exhibition of contemporary art in a historical site in Egypt.
