Gärna Art Gallery is pleased to present «YOLO» (You Only Live Once) show at UVNT Art Fair 2024, exploring the idea of living life to the fullest and embracing experiences, risks, and adventures.

The show will include nine international artists from 6 countries comprising paintings by: Cesc Abad, Lotte Keijzer, Irina Maksymova, Joel Bigaignon, Laia García and Saxon Quinn a ceramics by Pepo Moreno, Ramiro Gonzalez Luna, Yasuhito Kawasaki, Lusesita, Cesc Abad and Albert Pinya encourages visitors to seize the day, take risks, and make the most of their time on earth. Through various forms of art, this exhibition aims to celebrate the spirit of living life to the fullest.

Showcasing artworks that reflects the adventurous spirit of «YOLO» selected artists capture the thrill of exploration, travel, and pushing boundaries.

Cesc Abad´s work immerses us in a wonderful world with iconic characters fruit of his imagination. Risk and resilience is also present, as well as the idea that taking risks is an integral part of the «YOLO» philosophy through Joel Bigaignon´s work which pictures pink sharks, delving into stories of individuals who faced adversity, vulnerability, overcame challenges, or pursued their dreams with determination.

«YOLO» is a concept that transcends cultural boundaries. Artists can highlight how different cultures embrace the idea of living life to the fullest, from Japanese artist Yasuhito Kawasaki to Ukrainian artist Iryna Maksymova, or Lotte Keijzer´s, it’s an opportunity to showcase diverse perspectives on what it means to seize the day.

In a nutshell, our UVNT proposal for 2024 is an opportunity to inspire and encourage viewers to embrace experiences, take calculated risks, and make the most of their time. Through diverse artistic expressions, this exhibition can capture the essence of «YOLO» and remind us all to savor life’s moments.
