ESTAMPA 2026
IFEMA, 24.09.2026 – 27.09.2026
GÄRNA’s proposal for ESTAMPA 2026 brings together artists Fernando de Ana and Santiago Picatoste around a shared idea: our experience of the world is shaped through the relationships between emotion, matter, and perception.
Fernando de Ana presents, for the first time, a selection from The Lovers, his latest project, in which he explores love as a
transformative force that encompasses encounter, desire, loss, and memory. Created in layers of resin, his works function as fragments of an emotional memory, acquiring new meanings through their relationship with one another.
Santiago Picatoste continues his investigation into painting as an expanded experience through monumental works. Colour,
matter, and light create a space of tension and harmony, where his distinctive islands of colour invite an active and constantly shifting perception.
The proposal thus establishes a dialogue with Gestalt Psychology: the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The stand becomes a visual constellation, where each artwork transforms and amplifies the presence of the others.
